Shine Bright Like a Diamond!

Diamonds signify stead fast, enduring love because of their unmatched beauty.  No wonder, they are the most given stone when popping the question.

Although, the gesture of giving a ring to the woman that has promised to be your wife dates back centuries, the giving of a diamond ring is more of a recent innovation.  It was not until the 1930s that the diamond ring became popular with a marriage proposal.  The most important criteria of a diamond engagement ring comes down to two factors: is it a piece of jewelry she loves and does it fit within your budget?

Here at Evans Jewelers we have a wide variety of diamond engagement rings in a wide range of prices.  We pride ourselves on being able to help you get that perfect ring without breaking your wallet. If you are wanting a one-of-a kind ring for that special one-of-a kind love, no worries; we specialize in custom designs.

Gem of the Sun

When I hear August, I think of hot Summer days, and the last month I can wear my white pants and shorts! I also think about one of my favorite gemstones (it's my favorite color and birthstone) Peridot!  The vivid green of Peridot with just a hint of gold is the perfect color to wear with all your Summer outfits!

Peridot was called the Gem of the Sun by the ancients, and was believed to posses  power to dissolve enchantments and put evil to flight.  This gemstone is very unique in that it only comes in one color this olive green.  There are however different shades and intensities of the olive green color.   Peridot is found in lava, meteorites and deep in the earth's mantel.

Peridot makes a great gift for an August birthday and is the stone for 15th Anniversary Gemstone!

Here are some of our own beautiful Peridot pieces

The Multi-Rings Have It!

2014 Fall Trend Alert: The Multi-Rings Have It. On a serious note,  if Vogue (my Holy Grail to all things fashion)  says it then it has to be true!!!  Speaking from personal experience, who wouldn't want to show off as many of your rings at one time as you can,  and honestly the BIGGER the BETTER!

Here are some images straight from the runways and Vogue!

And let us not forget fashion icon ... Beyonce!
Now these rings are a tad bit unrealistic to everyone else, but you get the idea!!!
