Did you ever have that one teacher? That teacher that pushed you and inspired you to be better not just academically but as a person! I remember my first teacher like that; I was in fourth grade! It is so funny to look back on that now because I distinctly remember the nervous dread when I found out I would be in her class. All the older students always shared their horror stories of her class. The intimidation of orientation when I entered her classroom still plays so vividly in my mind; as I slid down into my assigned desk, I remember looking up and thinking "OH NO, here it goes!" It was the normal spill from covering the syllabus to what she expected throughout the year from her students, but something was different! As we left the classroom, she stopped each student gave them a hug and said she loved us. I thought to myself, she can't love me; she doesn't even know me!!
As the year went on, I began to realize this teacher really does love us! Although she was tough and excepted only the best, I can honestly say she is the best teacher I have ever had! She was a teacher that had a heart for her students and love for her job!! I will never forget her and all the life lessons that she taught me!
